Scope: The scope of this work instruction is to define how to update production order dates appropriately in SAP for items to be built by Swagelok Minnesota | North Dakota | Appleton. Responsibility: Customer Service Representative (CSR)/ Inside Account Manager (IAM): Update dates on production orders whenever the sales order dates are altered. Procedure This procedure defines update production order dates in SAP. The start date of the production order should be set 2 months prior to the due date. Example: a due date of 9/27/2024 should have a start date of 7/27/2024. To update the start date, type the date into the “Start Date” field and press “Tab” on your keyboard. [IMAGE: PROCESS - SAP - Changing Dates on Production Orders_image1.png] When you do this, the due date will automatically update to the same day as the start date. This will need to be changed. [IMAGE: PROCESS - SAP - Changing Dates on Production Orders_image2.png] Type the desired due date into the “Due Date” field and press “Tab” on your keyboard. [IMAGE: PROCESS - SAP - Changing Dates on Production Orders_image3.png] The update is successful if the “Start Date” and “End Date” columns on the production order match what you entered.
